Waggy Tails Case Study
Waggy Tails, a small dog boarding business in Ormskirk, wanted a cohesive, warm, and playful brand identity that reflects the love and care they give to every pup they welcome. We created a full brand package designed to make tails (and hearts) wag.
The Brief
A Brand That’s as Friendly as a Happy Pup
The owner of Waggy Tails came to us with a vision: to turn her beloved dog boarding business into a brand that felt trustworthy, loving, and high-quality. Something pet parents would feel confident and excited about. She mentioned she liked the idea of a literal “waggy tail” in the logo, and we ran with it, crafting a brand identity that’s both playful and polished. From logo variations to tailored social media templates, every element was designed to showcase Waggy Tails’ unique charm.
The Process
Bringing Personality and Professionalism Together
We started with a deep dive into Waggy Tails’ values and target customers—dog owners who treat their pups like family. Here’s how we brought the brand to life:
1.Discovery & Moodboarding: We gathered visual inspiration and created moodboards to reflect warmth, friendliness, and care.
2. Logo Design: Multiple logo concepts were developed, with the final design incorporating a playful wagging tail on the “Y” of “Waggy” to make the brand instantly recognisable.
3. Colour Palette & Typography: We selected soft, inviting colours and a rounded, legible font family that felt both premium and friendly.
4. Social Media Templates: Designed a cohesive set of custom Canva templates for Instagram posts, stories, and announcements—keeping their online presence consistent and on-brand.
